Steps to create a model using IBModeler

In IBModeler 2.0, the rotating stand setup method provides a custom way of taking photographs where most of the calculations happen behind the scenes while the users just need to make a few clicks to get the output model.

But the classic method of creating the models (as in ver 1.0) has still been retained for two reasons:
Below are the links to the documentations for the complete process that needs to be followed to create models using IBModeler in general. It is the same process that the rotating stand setup also uses behind the scenes.

A 3-D model can be created with IBModeler using the following main steps:

Appropriate interfaces and dialog boxes have been provided for all the above operations. A concise list of all the steps that can be performed on a mold file has been documented in mold options.

Automation by putting all instructions in a script file
If you always use the same method to take photographs for different models, then you can save some time on the repetitive tasks by getting IBModeler to run a series of instructions at one go reading them all from a previously created script file (see using a script file). All the important operations like processing of images, applying images to mold and creating models can be automated through these script commands.
